Experience Conservation and the wonder of New Zealand wildlife. Rotoroa Island is the creche  site for the brown kiwi and one of the sanctuary sites of takahe recovery

Jo Woolley Yoga

Jo comes from an International Swimming background and partners with us in our Aitutaki Swim Tours. Jo is a certified Classical Hatha Yoga teacher since 2017. She continues to build her yoga practice and connection with her yoga and swimming community.

​Jo holds a Master of Fine Arts degree and continues her Botanical Art practice inspired by native New Zealand flora. Together with her passion for yoga, open water swimming and the outdoors, she encourages her students to explore and connect with our natural environment.

Accommodation is available in one of three charming historic homes on Rotoroa Island. Each home is fully self-contained and equipped with all the essentials, including linen and bedding for your comfort and television. Choose from three room types:
Deluxe Queen – A spacious and comfortable queen room (couples).
Deluxe Twin Share – A cozy twin room with two single beds (singles).
Deluxe Single - only three rooms with a single bed
Deluxe Bunkroom – Bunk-style accommodation (part of Serenity House).

PACKAGES

Deluxe Double - $1,500 per person (couples) 
Deluxe Single - $1,800
Deluxe queen - $2,200 (single) only if not allocated to couples first
Deluxe bunk room - $1,500 (shared accommodation)

PAYMENTS
$700 deposit (refundable to 30 Oct)
Balance is due 15 January 2027

Include: return ferry transport, all meals, ocean swims, four nights' accommodation, Yoga sessions, linen & bedding supplied

Sunrise Yoga 
AM - group swim - before breakfast
Breakfast / Brunch includes takeaway for lunch
PM - group swim 
Afternoon Yoga
Dinner
After dinner - Reflection and briefing for the next day 

Wednesday 24 February
Sunrise Yoga 
AM - group swim - before breakfast
Breakfast / Brunch includes takeaway for lunch
PM - depart Rotoroa Island on Explore Group ferry

Home Bay to Cable Bay - 2 km
Ladies Bay to Cable Bay - 2 km
Home Bay to Ponui Island 2 km one way 
Ladies Bay to Shag Island - 3.7 km one way 
Cable Bay to Pakatoa Island - 2 km one way 
Around Pakatoa Island - 5 km 
Home Bay to Waiheke Island - 3 km
Around Rotoroa Island - 6.5 km
Half Rotoroa swim - 3 km 
Cable Bay to Frenchman's Cap - 1.2 km one way 
Cable Bay to Man-o-War Winery - 4 km (return by boat) 

We mix and match swims to conditions and tides. 



Other organised activities: Guided island tour with the Ranger.  Swim to Man-o-War Winery for wine tasting and lunch. 

The Accommodation - there are three Homes fully supplied with linen and towels,
​The Superintendents House offers shared bunk rooms.
