Final Swim of the Season

ABOUT
The annual harbour crossing swim of the Manukau Harbour. This swim is part of the 2022 Winter Series, changed to Saturday from Sunday to fit with the final People’s Triathlon Race 4 at Misson Bay on Sun 29.

​This year we are starting at Taumanu Reserve and heading SW with the tide to the Manukau Boat & Yacht club, a distance of 1.7km. It will be a fast swim.

Straight line across Manukau Harbour from Taumanu Reserve in Onehunga to the Manukau Yacht and Motor Boat Club in Kiwi Esplanade, Mangere Bridge. 

FOR YOUR SAFETY
Wear a wetsuit 
Swim to your ability and make sure you are comfortable
Exit the course if you feel unsafe or cold 
Get a health check, discuss with your doctor 
Invest in body warming accessories - swim booties, thermal hat, gloves
