About
THE 2023 tour is a Cold Swim Tour of the Southern Lakes. The aim of the Tour is to offer swimmers a new experience in Cold Water Swimming in a safe environment with other swimmers and support. The tour is six nights based in Queenstown.
This is a Wetsuit Cold Swim Tour. There are seven scheduled swims in six days.
The swims are conducted in a controlled and safe environment under the supervision of the Tour paramedic.
How long are the swims?
To each swimmer's comfort level. Maximum duration is 30 minutes. The average swim time for swimmers on the 2022 tour is fifteen minutes (10-23 mins).
Swimmers must prove a period of preparation to swim in cold temperatures. If you register for the Tour you will need to provide a plan of cold water swimming leading up to the Tour.

We will be flexible with the schedule to fit with weather changes.

Add $499 Flight & Swim only
Add $750 Flight + Swim + Cruise&Lunch
This is planned for Sunday for those taking part. May change to the next available weather window in the event of bad weather.

Training
Those taking part in the swims need to train for Cold swimming through the winter. Recommend non-wetsuit swimming in the sea for Auckland swimmers. Please consult with your Doctor on your health and the effect of cold water swimming. If you have pre-existing medical conditions such as a heart issue, the swimming part of the tour is not for you.
